Legal NoticeTerms of Use and respect for privacy
Cardio-log provides free service to all subscribers who have accepted the following terms of use:
1. Medical Information – Warning
Information made public on clinical trials cannot and must not be interpreted as a notice or recommendation and must never replace the opinion of a health professional, in particular when it comes to prescribing or issuing medication.
Reference to medication containing one or more of the molecules used during a clinical trial does not imply that this product is or will always be available, inasmuch as it is possible that these medications are not authorized in a given country or that their use is restricted in accordance with certain guidelines. Only local information relating to prescription and labeling can attest to their availability.
The scientific contents of cardio-log cannot be considered exhaustive and, therefore, must be verified. They are entered on a given date and, therefore, reflect the opinion of experts at the time of their entry, not at the time of their consultation.
Éditions Frison-Roche, editorial manager of cardio-log, cannot be held responsible for any consequence resulting from the consultation of scientific articles published on this website.
2. Use of Data
The data to which cardio-log allows access is provided as information in the interest of science. Commercial use of any portion of this data is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.
In particular, even if it is inconceivable that such data might provide sufficient information in this regard, the data in question cannot be used to constitute the basis of a request addressed to any regulatory authority, in any part of the world, with the goal of obtaining any authorization for a given medication.
3. Copyright
The whole of this site is subject to French and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property.
Reproduction in whole or in part of this site’s contents, including downloadable documents and iconographic and photographic representations, is expressly prohibited without prior written authorization.
The law of March 11, 1957 authorizes in terms put forth in paragraphs 2 and 3 of section 41, on the one hand, only «copies or reproductions strictly reserved for private use of the copying party and not destined for any collective use» and, on the other hand, only analyses and short quotations for the purposes of example and illustration, «any representation or reproduction, in whole or in part, made without the consent of the author or author’s assigns is illegal» (paragraph 1 of article 40).
Any such representation or reproduction, by any process whatsoever and in any medium whatsoever, would therefore constitute an infringement punishable under the terms of section 425 and subsequent sections of the Penal Code.
